The RealAid Story

John WilliamsonRealaid, Inc. (the Company) is a Texas "C" corporation, founded in 2002. The Company is engaged in the development of consumer and institutional products in both the health and retail industries, as well as the licensing of patents and U.S. trademarks.

When Company Founder John B. Williamson considered there were a number of other well known brand names ending with AID or ADE sound, it became apparent that most of those names were for just one or two products.  Though these other branded products have been highly successful in connecting with the public, resulting in their extraordinary sales, he concluded that none of them would be able to be multi-branded.

Who thought of the name RealAid? Stella McKinney, a retired Registered Nurse residing in Sugarland, Texas, thought of the name while working on a nasal filter medical invention. She thought this was the best possible name to suggest the great relief an allergy sufferer would experience after using the device. She shared the name with Williamson and has served as the Company's Vice President.

Why did the Company have such a keen interest in the U.S. trademark RealAid and file for the U.S. trademark rights for so many products? “We regarded the name as very remarkable and appealing to people hearing it for the first time and as one which will lend itself to great impulse sales. Whereas many pharmaceutical names sound very clinical or scientific, RealAid has a message that connects very naturally,” Williamson said.

The Company believes that the name RealAid connects with the average consumer in a way that the clinically branded names cannot.  The independent  market research done on RealAid bears out Williamson’s forecast that this unique name is a perfect candidate for multi-branding in which different manufacturers would reinforce each other’s advertising, exposure and promotions.  In the United States alone, the number of market outlets include more than  66,000 supermarkets, 74,000 convenience stores and 43,000 drug stores / pharmacies who could potentially sell RealAid products.

The Company does not plan to manufacture any products bearing the trademark.  Its mission is to license the marketing rights of the name to different manufacturers in the following industries:  Safety and First Aid, Pharmaceuticals, Personal Health, Hygiene Aids and Personal Care.  Under this arrangement, the different manufacturers would pay license fees to the Company.  The Company plans to license the name onto a broad range of products and services within those ever expanding industries.  Those who do obtain RealAid license agreements will be part of a unique program that can give their product(s) that which is ultimately desired, A WINNING NAME.

The name RealAid is far too unique to be limited to a single product.    The Company is willing to listen to different marketing proposals and encourages manufacturers to show their interest by contacting:
